Prepared for every eventuality

A few years ago I stayed in part of Sri Lanka which I was told was a suburb of Columbo. Looked more like a village setting surrounded by jungle to me. (Maybe I was not culturally tuned in to what a suburb is in that fine country.) Fortunately I had gone well prepared and had had all sorts of jabs and I took a box of various medications with me. I was there to do some training and to set up a course . When I finished I left the box to medicines to the couple I was staying with. One of them looked at the vast array of tablets, sprays and lotions and said " Wow Keith, looks like to have something here to cover every eventuality and every known illness to man!! " She was probably right and they are probably still using some of it seven years on!
I guess that is part of my nature to be careful and time has not changed that. I have just come back from the chemist with £80 worth of medical stuff for our forthcoming trip to Kathmandu.
........so I guess I am still a little on the careful side .....but even though we are meant to be staying in part of the city i have learnt that definitions of cities and suburbs vary depending on where you are in the world.....
