We met the real Elizabeth today ( not the aforenamed toothbrush) She is someone who has given her life to helping the poor. Over the years she has set up schools in her home to give needy children an education which they would otherwise have missed out on. Her next plan is to set up a school in one of the poorest areas of Kathmandu to help the 'landless' children who live in their community on the banks of the main river in the city. Elizabeth is one of countless Christian heroes who's story you will not find in a book.............................

  1. Great to know what you have been able to do each day .Thank you for sharing .All the more special as I was with those you are meeting .
Don't forget to film Helen Hopkinson's and other curtains that we have sent in the barrels !

Makes the sorting here of each bag of clothes given and the barrel project worth all the efforts .Our hall is piled up with bags of clothes that have come this week .
Tanka tells me that Kamal is now researching for another way to get the barrels into Nepal and we will be praying .

  3. You seem to have been really busy and got a lot done. Great photos so looking forward to seeing the film. The sea of need around is certainly an eye opener ... and overwhelming as you say but like each starfish thrown back into the sea ... where we are helping we can say 'we helped this one'.
I am glad Chris is recovering and back involved. Trust tommorrow will be another good day of filming.
Praying for safety and strength for you all
