Scary Suspension Bridge.

The flights to the mountains are so early that you still have most of the day before you. We spent time in the local community filming. We also interviewed Tanka about all he is involved with in Nepal and about his partnership with us.
We also walked over this rather high and scary suspension bridge........Chris and Clara discovered the joys of riding on motorcycles in Nepal and I, unfortunately seem to have picked up a stomach bug................all in all quite a full day.........................................

Unlike the picture of me above (complete with a nervous smile)...Clara stands in the middle of the bridge totally relaxed!

  2. Sounds like you had a great time on Sunday - flying high and trying to stay on the bridge! Sorry about your tummy bug - hope you are better now.
I updated the church at the Easter Morning Service and mentioned one or two highlights of your week!
Sounds like Monday and half of Tuesday will give you a bit of space before you fly back. Enjoy your remaining time.
With love and prayers from Mary and I to you all

  3. Dear Western tribe in Kathmandu, Having watched the recent replay of Whicker's World I cannot help but notice the similarities in your journalistic techniques - looks like you are having an eyeopening time and producing much material for the film. Skeptics would say that like the landing on the moon you never actually left the studio and in fact you are holed up in a local hotel surrounded by rapidly drying backdrops for the next photo shop. I am almost sure this is not the case look forward to evidence of the various mishaps and encounters and experiences you have had! Peter A.
